Ward Lansink

Real Estate Appraiser (AACI, P.App, DULE, B.Tech (Architectural Science))

Ward Lansink is an accredited real estate appraiser with the Appraisal Institute of Canada and has worked in the appraisal field for more than 20 years.  He has completed appraisal and consulting services for a multitude of assignments in both the private and public sectors, including a diversity of property types, such as residential, rural residential, multi-residential, commercial retail, commercial office, industrial, institutional, development land, agricultural land, First Nations, and others.  His main focus of work relates to expropriation and litigation support.

Ward also appears regularly before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (aka. Ontario Municipal Board) and the Board of Negotiation under Tribunals Ontario and represents numerous expropriated owners throughout Ontario in projects such as: Highway 407 East, Metrolinx GTA Transit Developments (including Eglinton Crosstown, Hurontario Light Rail Transit, Hamilton Light Rail Transit), Waterloo Rapid Transit, Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension, Scarborough Subway Extension, York Rapid Transit Developments, and other major infrastructure projects (including Highway 400, Highway 401, Highway 11, and Highway 11/17 in Thunder Bay).

Prior to joining gsi Real Estate & Planning Advisors Inc. in 2011, Ward was partner and operations director with London-based appraisal firm, Lansink Appraisals and Consulting.
