Mr. Bowles has been involved in the fee appraisal field for approximately 40 years. With a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree from the University of Guelph, he also obtained the AACI and P. App designations from the Appraisal Institute of Canada, and the FRI designation from the Real Estate Institute of Canada, all of which have now been retired.
Mr. Bowles has appraised properties throughout the GTA, as well as in other municipalities throughout Southern Ontario, for both the private and public sectors. Appraisal reports have been prepared for various types of properties including vacant land, development lands, commercial, retail, rural, institutional, residential and industrial properties. Clients included government agencies, law firms and private corporations. He has appeared as an expert witness before the former Ontario Land Compensation Board and the Board of Negotiations relating to expropriation matters.
